Yesterday, the global Prologis offices came together in solidarity and purpose for our annual Impact Day – a day dedicated to serving and strengthening the communities where we live and work. Part of our Houston team had the privilege of donning hard hats and picking up tools to partner with Houston Habitat for Humanity, Inc.. We poured our energy and enthusiasm into the construction while working on the soffit and framing of a family’s new home. It was a great day together making a positive impact with this important community organization. #PLDImpact

To support the goal of reducing emissions from the built environment – we're focused on building low-carbon structures from the start.The Prologis sustainability team did exactly that at our Eindhoven DC4 warehouse. We leveraged sustainable building materials for construction, designed for efficient operations and integrated an all-electric heating system. The building is so efficient, that by 2030, the carbon emissions from the building’s construction will be entirely offset by the excess renewable energy generated from onsite solar.
